"Take what you can, Give nothin' back!"

Gibbs the ever faithful first mate of Captain Jack, is a drunken pirate above all other drunken pirates. His steadfastness to Captain Jack Sparrow is quite amazing, considering how terribly annoying he is. The duo is incredibly hilarious throughout the movies and always keep viewers guessing. Gibbs and Jack have gotten themselves out a quite a few sticky situations, all of them resulting in laughs, rum, and incredibly amazing pirateyness.-------------------------------

Jack; "I have every faith in your reconciliatory navigational skills Mister Gibbs, now where is that monkey? I want to shoot something!"
Gibbs;  "Over yonder drinkin all the rum."
-----------------------------------------
Jack; "You know, for all that pirates are clever clogs, we are an unimaginative lot when it comes to naming things. I once sailed with a geezer lost both of his arms and part of his eye."
Gibbs; "What'd you call him?"
Jack; …"Larry."

--------------------------------------
 Jack; "Mr. Gibbs."
Gibbs; "Cap'n"
Jack; "...You may throw my hat if you like."
Gibbs; "Aye, aye captain!"
Jack; "Now go and get it."

"That is without doubt the worst pirate I have ever seen."

Out of all the Naval officers Captain Jack Sparrow defeated; Commodore James Norrington is probably the most memorable. After completely failing to first capture and then hang, Captain Jack Sparrow; The Commodore was relieved of his postion and became a drunken pirate. And in the end Commodore Norrington was killed helping his first and only love; Elizabeth Swan.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
James; "Well, well. Jack Sparrow, isn't it?"
Jack; "Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please, sir.
"James; "Well, I don't see your ship, Captain.
"Jack "I'm in the market, as it were."

Jack: "Gentlemen, m'lady; you will always remember this as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!"
James: (deep sigh) "Gentleman to the shore."

"If you were waiting for the opportune moment...that was it."

Oh my, the hilarious realatoiniship between Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner. Throughout the movies there was backstabbing, drunken parties, same love interests and many other things to keep you guessing what Jack and Will would do next. Here are some of my personal Favorites.
Jack: "Everyone stay calm we are taking over the ship"
Will: "Aye,  Avast."
-----------------------------------------
Jack; "Put it away, son. It's not worth you getting beat again."
Will; "You didn't beat me. You ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight, I'd kill you."  Jack; "Then that's not much incentive for me to fight fair, then, is it?"
  ------------------------------------------------------------------
Will;  "You've been planning this from the beginning, ever sense you learned my name!?" Jack; "...Yeah."

"Parley? That would be the French"

Parley, the special pirate code, proves to be quite useful.  If pirate points their gun at an enemy or someone like that, the person be demand Parley, which requires the pirate to take the accuse to the captain.  THe code permits the accused from being harmed until the parley is complete.  The code saves Elizabeth's life in the early scenes of Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and does Jack some good in the later scenes.  Of course, Jack being Jack can't just demand parley as Elizabeth does; he has to make it a joke by forgetting what the code is called and making the other pirates say it for them.

Jack: "Parlily.....? Palililo.... pally....... parsnip.....? Parsley? Polly? Polly."
Pirate: "Parley?"
Jack: "That's the one!  Parley! PARLEY!"
Pirate: "Parley? To the depths whatever what idiot thought of parley!"
Jack: "That would be the French."
Jack can't stop being the mad old Jack even when a gun is being pointed at him!  But then again, I guess that's why we love him so much, am I right?
